It’s all happening on July 9th at UFC 200 with the co-main event fight between Brock Lesnar and Mark Hunt a heavyweight classic match-up. Lesnar hasn’t fought in the UFC since 2011 and is looking to redeem himself after leaving with two consecutive losses.

His last loss was to Alistair Overeem which he believes was due to his illness being diverticulitis, this time however he’s just back to have some fun and also isn’t interested in trash talking with big payday either outcome on the night. Brock Lesnar is known to train by himself which can be very isolated compared to a recognized MMA gym, but Lesnar will most likely of brought in a sparring partner similar to Mark Hunt’s size and style leading up to this fight.

On the other side we have Kiwi UFC star Mark Hunt who’s on a resurgence of his MMA career, with walk of KO’s in his past two fights. It’s not hard to predict what Lesnar’s approach to this will be, calm collected with a sudden burst of energy to take Hunt to the ground and repeatedly use his force to land heavy blows or keep him there win by decision.

Lesnar can’t be as prepared as Hunt is for this fight, the New Zealand native is cool as it gets when it comes to handling big opponents but will Lesnar be that step too far? If he too waits for his chance to pounce and lands one or two shots to the jaw of Lesnar, the big man will be on his way back to suplex city before you know it.

Expect this fight to go in Mark Hunt’s advantage, we all know Lesnar doesn’t like getting hit but it may take a few more blows than a regular walk off knockout to keep him down.

Prediction: Mark Hunt 2nd round TKO
